The activities of the AMAC members are centered around the design and implementation of numerical and symbolic tools for the resolution of ODE's and PDE's, with applications to control and optimization problems.The department has 7 components:

  • BIPOP (Modeling, control and simulations in non smooth dynamical systems, nonsmooth optimization, INRIA team)
  • CASYS (Algebraic Computing and Dynamical Systems)
  • EDP (Partial Differential Equations)
  • ELAN (ModEling the appearance of Nonlinear phenomena, INRIA team, since October 2017)
  • NANO-D (Algorithms for Modeling and Simulating Nanosystems, INRIA team, since January 2014)
  • STEEP (Sustainability Transition, Environment, Economy and local Policy, INRIA team, since January 2010)
  • TRIPOP (Modeling, simulation and command of non smooth dynamical systems, INRIA team, since January 2018)
